Are you interested in a career sharing your passion for music with some of the most amazing students? Space City School of Music is located in Deer Park and exists to guide students to their musical goals. We are adding new students to our roster daily and we are needing to add motivated instructors to our teaching team. Our ideal candidate for the SCSM team is willing to:

• Teach mostly one-on-one private lessons and an occasional group lessons (3-6 students), guiding all ages of musicians on their journey towards their musical goals.
• Help students create achievable musical goals.
• Be relationship-oriented and student-focused, letting the student’s goals and aspirations guide you in shaping their individual curriculum.
• Be an outstanding team player, ready to go above and beyond for the needs of your students and teammates.
• Be creative in order to better connect and educate your students.
• Be depended upon to take care of your students through lesson planning, teaching, and clear communication.
• Take feedback to help improve your students’ experience.

Required experience: At SCSM, we value relationships, personality, and teachability in our instructors. Prior teaching experience and music education is a plus, but not always required.
