PRIVATE LESSONS
Children and adults at any skill level may register for private instruction
Students will work one-on-one with the instructor to reach their goals. Often times for adults and teens, private instruction provides a comfortable space to learn and grow as a musician. For more advanced students, we often combine group and private instruction to give the student the opportunity to advance quicker.
GROUP LESSONS
Students can learn together with family and friends or start a band!
Students in groups up to 4-6 learn together. Students have the opportunity to learn with family and friends or build on what they’ve learned in private lessons and learn to perform with other musicians. Many of our groups have grown into bands, many have performed at the Strawberry Festival, their churches, and other public venues.

HOW SPACE CITY SCHOOL OF MUSIC HAS HELPED HUNDREDS OF STUDENTS
When it comes to learning a new instrument, parents and students are often unsure of how to even get started. It’s our job to guide musicians to their goals, one step at a time.
We have students of all ages with various goals, some are learning to write their own songs, many are getting to perform on stage, some have started their own band, and some have found a new exciting hobby. And despite their options, they have come to us to help them get to that point.
We began offering instruction to students in the Summer of 2011. As we got to know our students and parents, we quickly learned a lot about their uncertainty in learning to play music, and their frustration with our competitors and alternate methods. Many music schools worked from a curriculum that was not inspiring or aligned with the interests of the students. We wanted to be different, we wanted to focus on what the student wanted to accomplish, and we began working on a unique plan for each student based on those desires.
This has been a philosophy that has resulted in HUNDREDS of our students accomplishing their goals each year. And because we have developed and mastered a unique group instruction method, we are able to serve our students at a much lower rate than other schools, and with more consistent results.
Our Philosophy is apparent in everything we do, from bringing instructors on board, to the way we have designed our classrooms. We know it is not about us, it is about our students, and those they choose to serve with their gifts and passion for music.
